Telemundo's new Red Dead Redemption-styled series The Legend premieres this Monday 4 July at 22h00, replacing
The Scent of Passion.
It follows folklore hero Jesús Malverde who leads a group of loyal bandits who defy corruption by robbing the rich to give to those in need.
His heroic actions are praised by the local townsfolk, but of course they're a threat to government leaders and greedy affluent landowners, making him their Numero Uno enemy.
Women of all walks of life love him though - including the elitist rich - but he only has feelings for his childhood love Isabel, played by
Woman of Steel star Carolina Miranda.
Mexican singer, songwriter, TV host and actor Pedro Fernández headlines as Jesús.
