Big changes are on the way to TV lovers... first up: Days of Our Lives is over.

Today eMedia announced that they won't be renewing the contract for it and that it's ending on Friday 8 April, at the end of Season 53.

We know many of you enjoy this show so we feel for you dear reader.

Other changes that take effect from Monday 11 April are as follows:

1. Imbewu's been renewed for Season 5 and changes time to 21h00.

2. A new risky business, PG-rated local telenovela called The Black Door takes over its timeslot at 21h30. It's produced by Black Brain Pictures and revolves around the world of prostitution and a brothel. The cast includes Zamani Mbatha and Linda Sebezo.

3. Durban Gen, House of Zwide and Scandal! remain in their regular timeslots.

4. The channel's picked up Season 1 of BET's telenovela Isono, which will air at 20h25. You'll find details on it here, including the scenario and cast >> Isono Show Page

5. American procedurals e.g. the Chicago franchise and NCIS are also being discontinued.

6. Season 1 of Is'phindiselo (currently on eVod) will replace international movies on Sundays at 20h00 from 3 April. International movies will air afterwards, at 21h00. The details on Is'phindiselo here >> Is'phindiselo Show Page

Isooooooono is back? My favorite. Days can go, if we can have Isono.
But the timing for Isono is a bit unusual. It is an age-rated soap and 1700hrs is just not ok

@ #1999 I think Isono will be a repeat of what was shown on BET
