13 bachelorettes dated actor Neels van Jaarsveld on the first season of Op My Eish and one turned out to be his flame: beauty therapist Florinda Hearn, who's still dating Neels today
Now there's another actor up for grabs for Season 2: TV and film actor Francois Jacobs, whose repetoire includes roles on kykNET's 2013 period drama Donkerland and the soapie Binnelanders, where he played Esra for three seasons.
He studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch and in 2015 he was one of the finalists in BET's acting reality show Top Actor Africa.
On the movie scene he's had roles on Vir die Voëls and he has the starring role on the recently released Kaalgat Karel, where he plays "A hapless streaker, seeking to win the heart of a strait-laced single mom, who must find a way to bear his soul rather than his buttocks."
Thankfully that's fiction and he'll be keeping his butt covered for Op My Eish. (Fingers crossed!)
Behind-the-scenes he's single, ready to mingle and looking for someone to make him tingle.

Francois' dating profile
Of course you need to know more about him before deciding so here are some flash facts, from both himself and his Kaalgat Karel co-star, comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout, who's going to be his wingman on Op My Eish:
Francois was born and bred in Mbombela (previously known as Nelspruit).
He loves adventure and he's in the process of getting his pilot’s licence.
He also works behind the camera as a producer and director.
What Francois has to say:
“I am looking forward to the process and hopefully I will also find love like Neels did in the first season. We must wait and see if getting married is on the cards for me, but I am going to make the most of it and I hope I will find love.”
What Schalk has to say about Francois:
“There were times when I was useless in my love life. Eventually, I found the right partner, but it was a struggle. I think that has made me a good adviser.
I’m also a good listener. If Francois is in doubt or needs a shoulder to cry on when things get tough, I’ll be there.”
“He never sits still. He likes being dragged across a dam, to ride a motorbike - anything that amps up the adrenaline.
By that I don’t mean they both need to be exactly the same, because that would be boring, but it won’t work if they are like night and day.”
If you have the oomph to date Francois, these are the must know details about the show:
Francois will choose 16 bachelorettes out of all the entries. He'll meet them in Joziburg and go on a speed date with each of them.
He'll then choose 12 who he'll get to know over four weeks through a series of adventurous outings. He'll bid farewell to one person at a time at a time until he finds "the one".
