Glow TV's new soapie The Cost of Love premiered on Tuesday night (9 February) at 20h00, replacing
True Love which ended on Monday.
New episodes also air Mondays to Fridays, at 20h00 and 20h30, except for the first three which are an hour long.

We are introduced to Ahaan, a musician who ends up getting arrested after some people make fun of him. He refuses bail from his dad and asks his beloved uncle to bail him out instead.
We are also introduced to Pankti, who unknown to Ahaan, is forced to be the mistress of Ahaan's uncle Jayant, who ill-treats her.

Pankti wishes for care and affection from her mother, however, her mother doesn't care for Pankti and only sees Pankti as an investment that brings money in, after she sold her own daughter to Jayant.

Pankti ends up in the hospital after trying to make herself ill, but her mother fetches her and forces her to go to Malhotra's house to sing in front of a crowd of men, even though Pankti tells her that she does not want to.

Pankti is about to get caught by Jayant when she tries to get down from the balcony and ends up falling into the arms of Ahaan.

Ahaan sends a drone into Pankti’s house and Pankti follows the drone and reaches Ahaan, but tells him that she cannot come to the Diwali party.

Anita gets bumped by Richa’s father's car. Richa’s father turns out to be a huge fan of Anita and Anita’s family gets an invitation to the party, but when they are about to leave for it Jayant arrives and destroys Pankti’s rangoli.

Poorva and Anita leave for the Diwali party, while Jayant punishes Pankti by bursting firecrackers around her.

Anita raises her hand to slap Pankti but Ahaan stops Anita.
