Sonto finds herself at the receiving end when a murder puzzle gets pieced together. Teddy is taking the learners license failure hard, but his friends work on a rescue plan. Thathi convinces Detective Mahlasela to allow her to go see the victim with him.

Sonto will do whatever it takes to make sure that Thathi doesn't meet with Gift. Ntokozo and Langa are having a tough time keeping Teddy away from Miss Manzi. Miss Manzi has a touching moment with Teddy, witnessed by Langa and Ntokozo.

Ntokozo and Langa are frustrated as they try to convince Teddy to cool things off with Miss Manzi. Detective Mahlasela tries to link Gift’s death to Sonto. Miss Manzi and Teddy grow even closer.

Ntokozo walks in on a moment that has him questioning Miss Manzi’s true intentions for Teddy. Sonto realises that she’s lost an item that could implicate her in a crime and ruin her relationship with her daughter.

Teddy cannot physically be in Miss Manzi’s presence anymore. Sonto is about to run for the border when Mazet saves the day. Langa and Ntokozo have no idea what to do with Teddy’s mood swings.
