Adama’s death, having been compared to the recent death of George Floyd, has sparked protests across France and Assa has worked tirelessly to shine a light on racial injustice and police brutality.

I enjoyed the show more than the normal awards ceremony. The performances were the best and production outstanding. Dababy and alicia keys performance brought me to tears. Hope they do like this more often

I did not sleep and watched the on dstvNow. But the breaks were annoying advertising #Isono 3times on 1 ad-breake but the show is promising though

>>I enjoyed the show more than the normal awards ceremony.<<

Agreed! Virtual ceremonies are proving to be more enjoyable - probs because they're fresh and need to do new things. Also, there's a lot less time and space for all the annoying "I love myself" moments on the red carpet and in the auditorium.

And, in the case of the SAFTAS, definitely because of how short it was. Almost an hour instead of the hours and hours they usually are. Must be at least 10 to 12 over the two nights.

PS: SAMAs are gonna be virtual too. Over five nights instead of one. For mostly half-hour stints.
