Yesterday we spilt the news about the two new characters joining Generations: The Legacy this month and today we've got an album for you from the soapie's official Season 5 photoshoot.

The pix were taken by Vernondo Boshoff Photography once Season 5 starting filming and feature the lead cast.

Without further adieu... these are them:

PS: Vuyo Dabula/Gadaffi had another commitment on the day and couldn't make the photoshoot.

Seems like Lerato has joined the Main Cast....that shows growth

@Show-Time all I know is him and Wiseman Mncube(Skhalo) were at the PHOTOSHOOT but their pics ain't here

Their pics weren't sent to us so we've asked for them. We've added Junior's and will add Wiseman once we have it.

! So we have intel on why we didn't get Wiseman's pic... it's because he's off the show:0.

You're right Sduu - he was at the photoshoot. He was supposed to be in the new season but he got an offer for another project and the schedule clashed with Gen so he isn't with Gen anymore.

It could be Mzansi Magic's eHostela that clashed because he's in that.

We've tried to contact him to confirm but haven't managed to reach him - we'll try again.

We did get his pic though

Confirmed. We've just spoken to him and it's because of eHostela - he's one of the lead characters. It starts on Sunday, 6 January (at 20h00) and they're still filming in KZN.

Oh wow I'm heartbroken, the way I wanted the Skhalo character to stay... Maybe he'll be back in the future
