In the new series The Healer, Charlie Goldsmith allegedly possesses a healing gift and the series captures moments when he supposedly heals people from all walks of life who have previously sought medical attention with no success.
According to the show synopsis, Charlie "surprises the most highly qualified scientists with his healing method of using only his mind. He also helps the community with his unique skills."
We see him attempting to heal a two-year-old boy whose complicated genetic disorder has left him in horrible pain and then he goes on to help a mother to regain her ability to walk. He also works with film star Jennifer Grey, who suffers from chronic neck pain.
A word of warning though: people claiming to be able to heal others through non-traditional means are not always to be relied upon - if Charlie here is truly able to heal people using nothing but the power of his mind, then rejoice - we're all saved! No more cancer - just call Charlie! Got Ebola? You know who to call. Shingles? On a sea-shore, baby.
If this guy can truly do what he and the producers of this show claim, then we predict modern medicine is about to become non-existent. And Charlie Goldsmith is about to have a very long queue outside his practice.
Unless it's all nonsense and careful editing, of course. Watch and decide for yourself.
