SABC3 loses Days to e.tv

SABC3 abused it and now e.tv's showing it da love.

On Monday, 4 September Days of Our Lives will move to e.tv after suffering a monumental meltdown on SABC3 over the past year as a result of being yanked from early primetime.

It's going to air on e.tv at 17h30 from Mondays to Fridays, which puts it back in the swing of its former timeslot.

It used to air at 17h00 on SABC3 and attracted over a million viewers in the timeslot for its highest episodes so it's going to be juicy to see if it attracts similar numbers - or more by reaching new audiences.

Ultimately this news highlights the consequences of abusing audiences the way Hlaudi Motsoeneng disrespected fans of the show. #KarmaKarma

We assume that American network NBC (who own the rights to Days) has had enough of being pushed around by the SABC and were thrilled to sign on e.tv's dotted line.

Days will air in HD on e.tv and the omnibus will air on eExtra (on DStv and OpenView HD) on Sundays.
Episodes will pick up from the SABC3 broadcast, starting with episode 12368.

Dang im excited cz i loved this show and hope it's going to have gud numbers on etv+ Chandler massey(original will) is back although it will take 3years so dt we see him here in SA..eish #B&B which i also like will have to miss me myb I'll watch on you tube. . Dankie etv 4Bringing #DaysOfOurLives back...

B&B airs at 18:30 wena qavile. I alsolove Days. I will enjoy watching it now

I was actually watching Days when SABC 3 yanked it from my schedule so this is good news for me. I'm disappointed though that we will still be 3 years behind. C'mon etv show us some more love.
