This is the best TV news of the year by faaaaaaar dear reader... OpenView HD has eventually ditched, dumped and shot down the disgusting Wild Africa TV channel.
It's been ripped from the platform along with three other channels: ASTV, Spirit Word and Ekurhuleni TV. I don't care about any of those BUT Wild Africa TV's a very different story.

freaking out about it when it was first added to OpenView?? It's a channel of bloodshed and the murder of innocents, crammed with awful, heart breaking hunting shows.

It's literally the Donald Trump channel!!! We all know how much his sons love killing innocent creatures for sport and trophies and that's what the channel's about - the unecessary, sadistic killing of animals for no reason other than ego.
I've never understood why ICASA allowed it on TV in the first place because of how it glorifies the horror so I'm hugely relieved and happy that it's been canned. Clearly nobody wanted to watch such brutality and this makes me very pleased.
It's going to be replaced with a new channel to coincide with OpenView's third birthday in October. There's no word on what it is yet but at least we're guaranteed it won't be another stuff movie.
