M.Night Shyamalan’s
new 10-part series Wayward Pines premieres on FOX tomorrow (Thursday, 14 May at 21h00) and it's arrival puts us firmly in the future.
It's premiering in 126 countries on the same day - including America - which means we'll be seeing it
seven hours before the Americans. They'll be watching it at 21h00 their time, while we're already asleep.
We usually see simulcast shows at the same time as the US or an hour later so this is a notable occasion because it's the very first time we're seeing a show ahead of them. For once we have the experience of seeing something first, of knowing first - which has a
magical realism to it that suits M.Night.
