This past week I read one of the funniest stories I have read in a while. It involves a Chinese man, a laptop and the influence of a rapper named Kanye West.
Two weeks ago Kanye West projected an "American Psycho"-inspired short film to promote his last album. Much like Kanye a maintenance work in North East China unknowingly projected porn on a building for public view. According to VladTV, Yuan Mou was assigned with the task of fixing the big screen on a building near the main train station in Jilin, and upon finishing his job he somehow linked up his laptop to the giant TV screen.
He accidentally put on "The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks" (kinky) on his laptop, which is banned in China. The adult film is about a self-absorbed man who has 19 sexual partners, including 6 wives and side mistresses. The film was based on the erotic novel "The Plum In The Golden Vase".
The film played for ten minutes with everyone on the street stopping to view every single second. He was eventually advised to shut off the movie by his bosses, which he immediately did. He could face a maximum of 2 years in prison.
