M-Net 25 Years

This October M-Net celebrates 25 years of broadcasting. Here's a look at the premiere line-up for M-Net Satellite for the month:

The X Factor
Premiere date: Saturday, 8 October 2011 at 18h00
Premieres on M-Net HD at the same time

The biggest singing competition in the world comes to South Africa for the first time, as contestants vie for the biggest prize in TV history: a $5-million record deal.



Retired at 35
Premiere date: Tuesday, 11 October 2011 at 19h30

A sitcom that centres round David Robbins, a New York executive who visits his parents Alan and Elaine Robbins in Florida. He decides to drop everything to move into their retirement community. The move prompts Alan and Elaine to make an unexpected life decision as well.



Nikita
Premiere date: Tuesday, 11 October 2011 at 20h00

A remake of the 1993 movie Point of No Return, which was based on the French film Nikita.

The show stars Maggie Q as Nikita: who was trained and "owned" by a secret government organisation called Division. Division recruits troubled teenagers and recreates their lives: taking away their identities and turning them into spies.

Nikita escaped from Division three years before the action of the series and now she's a mission to bring them down.

Patty Hewes and Ellen Parsons return for another season of litigation. Two years have passed since Patty and Ellen last worked together.

Ellen has taken a position at Nye's firm, but her ultimate goal is to open her own practice. She reconnects with her high school friend, Chris Sanchez, who has recently returned from a stint at High Star, a private contractor in the Middle East.

Unable to get assistance from the corporation or the government, Ellen decides to look into his case. Both her new boss and Patty warn Ellen about building a case against Howard Erickson and the High Star Security Corp.

The season stars John Goodman as High Star's Howard Erickson.

The Army Wives return for a fifth season.

In the season premiere: Denise is meeting with Tonya, her future daughter-in-law but things get off to a rocky start. Molly isn't feeling well and Tonya expresses concern over her health, which Denise interprets as an attack on her parenting ability. Claudia Joy takes Emmalin to college and Frank, Michael, Trevor & Jeremy are still in Afghanistan fighting the war.

mnet has ruined,so you think you can dance,its at the wrong time,they edit the show into an hour!its terrible this season & i blame mnet
