Oprah goes inside the home of 7-year-old Jani, who’s been diagnosed with one of the most severe cases of childhood schizophrenia doctors have ever seen.

This disabling brain disorder is rarely seen in children, and Oprah talks to Jani’s parents who describe the long, frightening road they travel every day.

From the required 24-hour supervision to maintaining two separate apartments to protect Jani's baby brother, her parents share the drastic measures they've had to take since their daughter's hallucinations became violent. Oprah's cameras capture their struggle to keep both of their children safe.

Exclusive: Inside The Home Of The Florida Massacre


It was one of the most heartbreaking stories in the news last summer. When Bud and Melanie Billings, the parents of nine special needs children, were shot to death in their bedroom three-months ago, it shook a community to its core.

Their 27-year-old daughter, Ashley Markham, takes Oprah's cameras inside their home where the gruesome murders took place. She also shares what life is like without her parents, and how she copes with caring for all of her special needs siblings now.

Hoarders: A Family's Secret Life Exposed

Oprah goes behind closed doors. Filled with mountains of trash, piles of laundry and infestations of insects, Jennifer and Ron's house was anything but a home.

To find his toy cars, their youngest son waded through piles of clothes, toys and old food. In order to eat dinner, the couple and their three children sat on a bed with plates in their laps. "We have a small table in the kitchen, but normally it is so cluttered with stuff, you couldn't even begin to sit down," Jennifer says.
