Tonight Motswako profiles South African author and playwright Sindiwe Magona. Emanating from South Africa’s apartheid regime, she has been credited with bringing a sense of self-belief and freedom through her writing.
Sindiwe is most popularly known for her book “Mother to Mother” - an extension of her empathy to the parents of Amy Biehl. Through her writing she has provided perspectives on the benefits of having a spirit of forgiveness and the resilience to be positive in bleakest of moments.
