Well Done Rhythm Cityzens! (Reloaded)

I've only started watching Rhythm City recently and it was mostly because everybody on TVSA kept going on about how great the show is.

Part of the reason why I stayed away from it was because of Kop Khuse. I just feel sorry for that man shame......I don't know if it's the character or the guy himself but if I see him ko strateng I'll probably reach for my purse and give him a donation.

As much as I love Lungile, it's kinda difficult for me to believe the "Sbu" character but I admit it could be because I have never really give myself time to watch it....
Does Sbu ever laugh???

Mabatho's character, Thembi was also very depressing maan, hayi I just couldn't watch her going through this or that so again, as much as I like her, am glad the Thembi character is gone...makes it easier to watch lol.

And there was that little boy (I think it was Pule) who's apparently 16 or something. Everybody raved about him but when I eventually tuned in to RC so I could also witness his "greatness", the boy was missing & Suffocate was sad....
another Rhythm City sad face...

A whole lot of things have happened since then and now Rhythm City is arguably the hottest show on Mzansi television & I'm hooked! The amazing thing about is that it's all because of youngsters who have little or no prior experience and I'm so so proud of them for their brilliant acting & the writing team for being so original (mostly).

Now I cannot mention "brilliant acting" and not say Zenzo Ngqobe's name in the same breath....

If this boy does not win a SAFTA for Best Actor on Saturday then the people who decide would be "maal in die kop"....

So ja, just wanted to add my voice to the millions who are going crazy over Rhythm City and announce that I'm also a proud Rhythm Cityzen.

So, my fellow Rhythm Cityzen, who is your favourite RC character and what is the one question you are dying to ask him/her?

TVSA will be going behind the Rhythm City scenes very soon so if you have any questions you want us to ask the guys, holla and we'll be sure to ask it!

Im not a homophobe but can someone tell me what is up with ETV and the whole gay thing story-line? I remember not long ago Scandal had a story line where a guy who is about to get married. The guy realizes he is gay and breaks off the engagement to his girlfriend. The same story line is now on Rhythm City- what is up? Or is it company (ETV) policy to have a guy come gay and break off a heterosexual relationship. Otherwise I think Rhythm City is doing well- I have abandoned the sinking Isidingo ship and Im happy I have made the switch.

Its long nhe......Ok as usual I walk home yesterday ,alone, thinking what I’m gonna cook but i remember we had yesterday’s food so everything was perfect. When i was about to open the door, my neighbour greet me & ask for 2 egg. I told him i forgot to buy eggs. So I asked him, don’t you want something else because i have something like Russians & other stuff, but he said he was baking some cookies & he will give me a taste. I agreed & say i would love to taste his cookies.....he is a good guy, believe me.

I went inside the house & I changed my clothes. Since i wasn’t planning to leave so I decided to wear my gown. I’m sharing a flat with this chick & she always come late like around 18:30. So she came in & greets me as usual but before she enters the house I heard she was talking to him (the neighbour). And she put her bad & said,”I’m coming; I’m going to next door”. When she came back she was eating a cookie & she only bite once & she said I should taste. I didn’t hesitate, i ate. When I was about to finish this cookie she asked me if it’s nice or what. I said, “He is the man, he can bake”. Honestly it tastes good.

I continue watching RC then news but I remember eish i need to eat & wash dishes before Scandal & Gen. I did everything & i thought to myself, eish let me take the dustbin out before it stinks. While I was busy taking out this dustbin i was feeling weird. I felt there is something wrong with me but i continue taking the bin outside the house. Ok the feeling was getting worse & im going up using steps ndiya endlini, coming back from i bin ezinkulu zase flatini. Guys it was getting worse & worse. My heart was beating fast like a fan & I couldn’t breathe. The moment i open the door, i shouted her name & said please come I’m dying. I thought it was heart-attack. My skin was (cant figure out the rite word) but the opposite of shrinking & I thought I’m gonna explode. What intimidated me so much was my heart. I couldn’t breathe; it was beating so fast, like it’s going to pop out. Im panicking, saying she should call my boyfriend/ambulance/son (andimazi ke lo uba ebezakwenzani bcoz he is in EC with my mom). I guess i wanted 2 say gudbye 2 my son b4 i die. I was crying. Damn!!! I did cry loud. I confess today, im scared of death.

My bf was not picking up the phone now i already thought of doing something for myself. I’m breathing in & out like im going to give birth. That huuuuu haaaaaaaaaa huuuuuuu. I was *bleep!* scared & shaking. I was praying with NO Amen. I thought I was really dying. My head was spinning. Then i continue the breathing until I got better & better. It was almost eight & I was lying there feeling helpless & powerless. She (the chick im sharing with) asked me, Babes do you know what just happened? I said no, she said it’s those cookies. He mixed with dagga & wena you never smoke before. ..... My head was spinning like i dice. Guys I still can’t believe I’m alive, God is great.......I WAS HIGH THE FIRST TIME. Now i know why high people always c some funny stuff, i experiment izolo...
