For those of you who are spending Christmas holidays alone and indoors: if you're planning on spending your time watching movies (yes, some people are) coz TV will be boring:

What a Long Helpful list!!! was watching Brownsugar yesterday for the 100th time and it still rocks, thanks Shuga, i already had Antwone Fisher on my list. I must print and fax this to my Video shop so they can start getting some of these ready for me, i will need them.

Inside Man is the emptiest movie i've ever seen.... I was left thinking... okay.... and then???? worse i was watching with a friend thats not so clued-up on movies, so i pretended i'd watched it before... there i am still acting cool, saying more action is coming.. next thing Clive Wilson walks out of the bank... and the credits roll...

Still on Will's son, i cannot beleive his ability to bring tears like he did, i mean, i think its easy for older peeps coz you can jsut think of an unpleasant situation and just burst out, but for a young child like him, it takes more than just talent, he touched me.

Cariri, I feel u on Inside Man but I have a thing , very strong thing for Clive Owen so any movie of his is great :-) Which reminds me, I forgot to add that one of him and Angelina Jolie where she's always in white and doesn't get dirty buy evrybody else is. Forgot the title.

My son enjoyed it but mna I was disappointed coz I thought the first one was absolutely brilliant. (Watched it more than 5 times)
I won't go as far as calling it boring but I will definitely not watch it again....
The bambinos will enjoy it though.

Great choice BS......i have watched 68 of these and my favourite from your list, are the departed finding nemo and all the julia roberts flicks
would like to Add ..Sideways, Muriel's Wedding, Saving Private Ryan, American Beauty, Love Actually, Apocalypse, Forrest Gump, Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Sin City.....the runaway jury....phew...I'll defiantely be indoors this xmas...

The rest are good, except Forrest Gump was too difficult to watch!

Finding Nemo-----*dancing around* i luved 2bits
Forrest Gump : recently saw it on Dstv...its long, a gud one if u have nothing better 2watch or do ( incitha isizungu)

Tsotsi i watched 4the zillion time on SABC 1 last nite...i realised that Terry aint a gud actor uyadika if u c 2much of her .thank god she had short part kwi storyline..her squeeky voice tjeer...phe ngwana mphe yena oh Gosh!!

@ Mabhebhe, I thought i was the only one. She has no part whatsoever in Tsotsi. They clearly saw what a pathetic actor she is and shortened her part. She is pretty and she sold the movie................. BUt at least clean, classy beauty and not showing us her panties like many people I know who would do anything for attention.

Sorry BS, I really didn't think that I was going 2 need your list! Although there are no hotel & room service bills 2 b paid, spending x-mass in rural Transkei is equally if not more costly than a "me alone" time watching movies! Each person comming 2 "see" u costs a dollar or so, each greeting is money! I have decided to lock myself and blog [obviously I told them that no visistors 2 day, I am busy with "admin"]. I wish there was a courrier service to deliver movies on yo list (comedies only....I don't want to be anymore depressed...! Eish, I better flee to Durbs...!

Wena Mjj- Cape Town is not boring, whats up with u? We feast with cheap wine (well... more like a wine by-product sort off..) that is sold just outside Parl- it will keep u excited throughout the holidays- u may even partcipate in the 'baby-making' games that we tend to play after that wine.....! Just ask your doctor to prescribe you strong pain killers for the afterparty headache...!

Just came from watching Mr Bones 2, sigh, have realised that the 1st one was nice, yes it was, this one is.................................................... i laughed twice, yes, the whole movie, and my sense of humour is perfectly fine, there is something wrong with the movie, maybe not horribly wrong but its not that funny, comedy is supposed to be funny the whole time, i think...... thathing cover.

Nice list BS... Do watch Sideways if you have not its beautiful - it's one of those movies that inspire you into something, and for Sideways wine is that thing.

All I can say thank God X-mas is over....Bendisemakhaya and we have 4 channels... yhoooo, if its not Keke and Joyous celebration then its some christmas movie...TV was boring. I ended up playing cards wif my cousins and neighbors the whole time..

@BS - I'll give it an eight each time i watch it i cry and have seen it over 10 times i know Jim Carrey's a turn off but o hlaha for like a minute if not 10 seconds at the end of the movie le teng so no worries at all......

Everybody stopped with the XMAS celebrations and gathered in the living room to watch Generations!! I was like YHO!!!!
Anyway, Palesa wa bora shame,.....as for blurting out the pregnancy like that!! I hope that baby dies.....plus we don't even know if it's Samuel's baby for sure.

Hire them? or watch them on tv? some are still on dvd so you cant watch on tv as yet bur others are so old that SABC has repeated them more than 50 times.. ........ so you have Tyler's collection i love his movies with all my heart and also want to buy all his movies online pls tell me how to do that>>>> i kow Amazon or something like that

BS - You even know Generations's story line? Tjo........at my mother's house everyone is a Muvhango fan, i was forced to watch it as well....mind you there's more than one tv in the house and all of them were on SABC2 AT 9PM Monday to Friday......

All I can say thank God X-mas is over....
I am also thank-full FH, at least one-money demanding item is gone.... now lets do January with all the payements 4 those school children (even if yours aint @ school)
BS vs MJJ - I am not sure which meal I'd prefare 4 next x-mass! Belz do the tasting & do the re-cap (if u r still alive & healthy after mjj's meal)... I will decide then
IWTSG was great mjj, it was like specificaly presented as a closing of IWTSG....I thought I was going to feel like a furniture since I have attended many of them, but I enjoyed it as if it was my first! The children have grown day by day.Tickets collection was a bit hectic comapred 2 the past...

60 Plus Mna I always make it a point that I avoid spending any money during x-mas otherwise I'll overspend... I do my shopping ka de Jan sales.. I'm a cheap skate I know.

BS I had to watch Sharon leKethiwe nam cause initially I had no choice - everyone is into it at home and that's the only time we spend together as a family everyone ekhona....lol. Hayi nala sisi kaBridgete uyandiannoya - I can do a better job kunaye for sure. Weee uPalesa nokumitha kwakhe, uSam uyoyibeleka ikrwempa ndiyakuxelela..
