so this sunday i ditched the Jazz Tribute concernt for the Metro FM's Sunday Soul Session thinking gore i have been missing them way too many times and i have been lucky enough to be hooked up with a ticket for Soul Session at Morula Sun.i went there with high expectations but was left high and dry as according to my understadingng soul sessions are suppose to be about soulful music where u just lay back and get mesmerised.it however turned to be a different thing from what i had mind.listening to Mr Nkosi and Mr Zondi play hiphop was an earsore(if the word exists at all) for me.the highsthe venue -Morula Sun Lethabong Club-the venue is open and it overlooks a lake making it look even more prettier(i was wondering though about the notorius mamagashoa who apparently resides there. LOL at security for using those "Police line do not cross" look a like tapes to prevent people to fall in the lakethe mood created by Dj Fakaza from Tng (oops TUT fm) before the big guys arrived. the guy played better music than the three Metro FM combined.when Wilson played "in your eyes" it was wonderfulthe lowsplaying hip hop at soul session - shouldnt they be playing soulful music?or may be i do not get the whole idea behind this concept.i remeber dancing to Dont Leave by Blackstreet and then the music went mute and everyone say along and the next thing i hear " i will take you to a candy shop," mr Mtirara u were so wrong there.having to wait for such a long time for the three Dj's and to be disappointed like that.Arrggghh. No man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anything's possible when those 2 madalas are involved. I always wonder why Paul is so glued to them. Sorry libra but I've never been to 1 of those and don't intend going esp after your experience.

My 2 experiences of the sunday soul sessions in Bloem were quite entertaining. I give my big ups to the three Metro guys. They did a splendid job when they were in Bloem.
