Top 4
Here's who'll be singing what in this weeks Top 4:

From the press release:

There are only four Idols left in the competition, but that doesn’t mean that the workload has decreased at all. This week the Top 4 Idols have wardrobe fittings and media interviews and are special guests on “Kieno And The Angels” on Jacaranda 94.2 Wednesday morning. On Saturday (24 November) they will perform at Jacaranda 94.2’s Sisters With Blisters event at Montecasino.

But before that they still have the Top 4 Spectacular on Friday (23 November). This week’s musical theme is “My Idols”, and each contestant chose two songs from two of their own musical idols.

For Jody Williams the choice was simple: Céline Dion. And the song she chose is “I Surrender”. Jody also sang Céline last week in the Top 5 Spectacular, when she chose “Colour Of My Love”. Her second song is Christina Aguilera’s “Hurt”.

Munro du Toit goes retro with a Creedence Clearwater Revival classic: “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?” And his second song is from the rock group 3 Doors Down: “Kryptonite”.

Andriëtte Norman loves Billy Joel and she will be singing the Piano Man ‘s “Honesty” and Anastacia’s “Left Outside Alone”. Andriëtte also chose Anastacia for the Top 8 Spectacular, when she sang “I’m Outta Love”.

Tender Mavundla chose legendary divas as her idols. She’s performing the Chaka Khan classic “I’m Every Woman”, which was a hit for Whitney Houston on the Bodyguard soundtrack album, plus Tamia’s “Stranger In My House”.

Tickets for the Top 4 Spectacular on Friday, 23 November, are on sale now from Computicket at R60 for seats and R40 for standing tickets. The Spectaculars are recorded on Friday nights at the Ellispark Arena in Johannesburg.

Looking forward to everyone's songs, apart from Tender... Don't know why but I just can't get into her... I know she's a good singer, but something about her just puts me off...

Aaah DG, the way you feel about Tender is the exact same way I feel about Andriette, damn fine singer the girl is but emotionally I just can't get behind her, its the same way I felt about Anke.

Good choices all round.
I'm not a CCR fan but i'm defs looking forward to seeing Munro perform again.

I'm a bit worried hey, could this possibly be an all female top 3?
I don't know Munro's second song (or at least not by name but if someone cares to sing me a few bars i just might)  and i'm wondering if choosing less popular songs will get him into trouble.

The girls have gone with very familiar songs - although Celine, Christina and Anastacia have big shoes to fill.

So do you choose BIG ballads which might fall flat? or less known songs so that no one can compare you to the original artists?

GOOD LUCK MUNRO - i'm voting for you!!!

As long as they leave it up to us the viewers to vote or choose our favourites there will never ever be an idol who can really sing. Take for instance u Munro yeh he is charming and all that but do you call that singing, he is definately not the top 4 material. Just because Bjorn chose the wrong song and he was  soo confident he was voted out, the guy could sing and he could have been the best Idol but anyway I'm holding thumbs for Tender I hope she doesn't dissappoint me and I would definately be voting for her.
