Please guys help me award deserving actors the "Zube AWARDS". I will give you a shortlist of award categories and nominees then you should criticise or support the nominees. I will also motivate my nominations. To add more fun you can introduce new categories and nominees, worst actor categories are also welcome. After reading your comments I will give you the winners of the awards, exciting isn't?.

Lets get started.

Category: Best actress in a soapie

1. Connie Ferguson aka Karabo Moroka in Generations (she portrayed the pregnancy, Siyabonga and grieving mom storyline very very well, the coffee cup breaking scene will always be in my mind, she shocked me when she blackmailed Sibusiso to impregnate her in order to get divorce, catfights with Ntombi and many many more, she was a true crazy woman.)

2. Mitchelle Botes aka Cherel de Villiers in Isidingo (she impressed me when she tried to cruelly kill Lee infront of Barker in the name of revenge, yoh! ukhohlakele!!, she was a true monster.)

3. Diaan Lawrenson aka Paula van der Lecq in 7de Laan (her overblown ego, self confidence and self-importance are Over The Top (OTT) and funny, she is a true Bimbo.)

4. Lucia Mthiyane aka Rachel Phakathi in Rhythm City ( her carefree attitude and prima donna attidute is shocking, she thinks she is the best thing that ha ever happened and even in Mzansi she is just as exciting, she is a trully selfish woman.)

5. Khabonina Qubeka aka Doobsie 3 in Muvhango (uyadelela uDoobsie the way she looks at people when she is talking to them (e.g Dr Lefu, James and Thandaza), she makes it clear that ubadelile hayi kancinci kakhulu, her storylines are always interesting, scenes where she appears are not to be missed, she is a trully disrespectful woman.)

Zube ndiyavumelana nawe, I think Connie deserves to get an award she was great in her story line. As for Paula in 7de Laan i do at times find her scenes funny but I don't think she deserves the award.

I also think Karabo should get 10, and the rest 9.8 over 10. But Paula can be boring at times but she can play the bad selfish girl she is very well.

Karabo waz gtin on ma nerves whn she wz acting that grieving mum prt, she wz boring me 2 death sheim m nt gona ly.as for u paula i really like her overblown ego and she can be a real BLONDE sumtymz.U Doosbie i siriasly do not like her, shez ugly and gts wes whn she z doing her story lines.

Yhuuuuu, I cant believe you have put Conni ...aka Karabs and Best Actress in the same sentence, but ke its your opinion ...IMO i think she deserves the worse actress NOMINATION (that doesnt mean she should win....that award....)
along with Lucia Mthiyane, she could take the award from Karabs in the worse catergory for being over the top and just basically too much

now for the Best in the game you should nominate Joyce Mfeku or Brend Ngxoli and Michelle Botes and Khabonina too..oh and Ntate Moshoesh..
I think Brenda would take it home....becuse we've sen her in so many charecters, she was a policewoman, she was a saloon chick, she's done sassy lokshin chick adverts, she's done the tomboy chick, ndibala ntoni..talk about versatile...she rocks perod.

spononza i disagree wit u my luv.. karabo deserves tht award she was brilliant in the siyabonga storyline, nd she has alway been gud how she acts....... she desrves it..! usis Karabo is gud bathong lets all face it, even tht hilarious line of "my door will be left open on thoz days"........ rememba tht time he askd Sbu 2 shag her! he he heeeeeeee... tht was briliant job done1

Well I vote for Vatiswa Ndara, that's if you consider Home Affairs to be a soapie, if you don't then I vote for Vatiswa in Nomzamo or well maybe that's a comedy or TSHA TSHA well that's a drama. In that case I STILL vote for Vatiswa, this time when she was in Generations playing the evil Mamfundisi!

she is not bad at all usisi Vathi, what about AAnton Bonman the dude tried to kill himself several times and the more he tried the more fckd up he got i think that deserves a dumbo award!

I agree with you cleave on Vatiswa Ndara. I loved her as Mamfundisi in Generations, and now in Home Affairs. Brilliant acting. Almost everyone in Home Affairs is a brilliant actor/actress, i cant ever mention names.

Well guyz it meemz like there is one thing we all agree on... Vathiswa Ndara is the BEST ACTRESS in a soapie (Mamumfundisi in Generations) in a drama (Home Affairs) and where ever she acts she is more than just Brilliant... Hollywood doesn't know what its missing out on almost all the Oscar winners are all below her on performance..... UYA ROCKA bafethu.... Best actress eva....Best actress in de world...

I see you guz also think that Brenda Ngxoli is the BEST ACTRESS, guess what I couldn't agree more.... De gal knows how to act... and all Home Affairs (or almost all) deserve to get the Honorary BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS ZUBE AWARD, they are the best. I cant think of anyone who does not deserve to be awarded for brilliant acting in Home Affairs but you can remind me of that person... I cant think of any...

hi guys, happy friday! (not so happy for me since i'm working tomorrow...eish!)

anyhoo..who is htis Vathiswa Ndara ...i remember there was a manfundisi at some point in gen but i can't remember that face. i also don't watch home affairs so...
lol at cleave...u really like that lady ne...u must've mentioned her name like 4x in one sentence!
i agree with sjura about connie. she's a great actress no doubt but the crying scenes she still has to work on. i think her crying is the worst this industry has ever seen and it just makes me want to slap her when she starts.
for me i think the best actress would have to be ntsiki lukhele (gene)...can't remember her real name

KeleFabulous u can get more info on Vathiswa Ndara on Actors Home here on tvsa website....i must say u have been missing a lot...the lady is brilliant and so is Karabo...igama lika Ntsiki Lukhele ngu Pamela Nomvete, she was the worst actress in Muvhango bathong.... but nevertheless she was brilliant in Generations. Guys help me decide on the Best Drama on TV... Is it Home Affairs, Interogation room, Zero Tolerance, Gaz' Lam or Tsha Tsha.... im in a dilemma...plz help bathong..

I agree that Vatiswa is a great actress but where's her versatility? She's been typecast. Heard she's shot a movie with that chick who played Cleo. Let's hope she is not playing a deranged psycho or a drunk

Boring as she was, i think Karabo deserves 10. She REALLY did well on that Siyabonga issue. I dont wanna lie i was so bored by her then, i even wanted to abort Gen by then. I think Anne also deserves an award for being the worst dressed actress......... yah, also Winnie aka Khetiwe should get one for being so rural....

In the whole generation cast, MaKhumalo does it for me. remember de time when she was begging Karabo not to marry sibusiso, I almost cried, u cud swear she was really in love with him, that girl did that whole story line brilliantly.
But on the whole, i think Brenda Ngxoli is SA's best actress, she has shown true versatility, I had an argument with my a friend who said the girl who owns a salon in TSHA cannot possibly be the same girl who throws discus in home affair. She is brilliant shem...and so young...wow

what about giving Karabs the "NJe !! ) award.....thats the one you give to those who's perfomance is nothing to call home about...of course I can see lottsa bloggers are hooked on that "life imitates art" episode where she lost a baby even in real life, but still the girl is a walkin board when it comes to her emotional range and just giving something else to a charecter....(and sungtimes she dont know what to do with her long arms) ...so I think she's definately the nje typa actress..but i understand those who think she's the greatest actress of all soapy times....phela she's the only remaining original cast memeber of genrabshin

i personally think one person in Gernrabshin who can actually act is that Ntombii chick...and also Katlego danke too

Yep gimme katlego danke on my screen anyday, the girl has talent, remember her when she was a psycho obsessed with KB on backstage( the bad old days) she was brilliant. But i think Best Actress in a soapie award definitely should go to Mrs Sedibe herself, that girl knows how to strut her stuff, she's spiky and real....

Hi guys Yho I think da best actor award should go 2 Len Cooper from Isidingo- that guy never seizes 2 amaze, plus I love his humirous side. with best actress I will also give it all da women on Home Affairs, best thing on SABC 1 hell best thing on T.V at the moment (well maybe 4 those of us who don't have DSTV) I hear Prison Break is a quet a show.
