Season 1

Beyond Boiling Point is a British documentary mini-series produced by London Weekend Television which follows celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay as he allows access to his new restaurant while chasing his third Michelin star.

It was Ramsay's second foray into television, following up his first mini-series - Ramsay's Boiling Point - in 1998.

Beyond Boiling Point originally aired in the UK on Channel 4 in 2000. There are six half-hour episodes in the series.

The series originally aired in South Africa on DStv's BBC Food channel.

A rebroadcast of the series premiered on BBC Food on Saturday 19 July 2008, at 21h00. Double episodes air back-to-back each week.

Synopsis

After wreaking havoc in Ramsay’s Boiling Point, Gordon Ramsay is back...

In this six-part fly-on-the-wall documentary series, we follow Gordon through the most intense year of his life as he copes with his celebrity status and juggles cooking with the ever increasing demands on his time from beyond the kitchen.

He was famous for his notorious temper. He says he's changed... but has he?

Beyond Boiling Point follows Gordon Ramsay through a tempestuous year as he attempts to dominate the London scene, embarks on a rivalry with his one-time pupil Marcus Waring and celebrating the birth of his twins.
