The Real Housewives of Durban is a South African docu-reality television series based on "The Real Housewives" series by Bravo Media LLC which follows the lives of relatively affluent housewives and professional women in suburban Durban. After two seasons in Johannesburg, the second South African "Real Housewives" franchise now has the extravagant lives, high fashion and business empires of Ethekwini's queens on display. These ladies open their doors to share their daily lives of conspicuous consumption and splendour, fashion accessories and expensive toys in their driveways. There's a kind of spice that only Durban can bring – and these housewives are creating their own empires and looking good while doing it. The Real Housewives franchise is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats and produced locally by Let it Rain Films and Showmax. The Real Housewives of Durban is executive produced by Sam Kelly and Lee Doig. The series producer is Monalisa Chisango and the series director is Valentino Mathibela. The Cast Annie Ludick The wife of Durban businessman Kgolo 'Daguru' Mthembu and the owner of Annaesthetic beauty salon. Annie runs her own events and marketing company, as well as a dance agency. Ayanda Ncwane The widow of the late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane. Ayanda has since built a business empire through her artist management business and entertainment business. Kgomotso Ndungane The wife of former Sharks and Springbok winger Odwa Ndungane. Based in Windermere, Kgomotso runs a three-tier events company – a flower boutique, events equipment hiring and events creation. She will open up her world of hosting high profile guests with personalised gifts and bubbles from the champagne region. Nonkanyiso Conco Former president Jacob Zuma's ex-fiancee who has a child by him, Nonkanyiso now runs her own beauty brand called LaConco Naturals. She gets booked as a motivational speaker at business and women's events as well as isiZulu cultural events. Nonku Williams A mother of three and the founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery. Nonku is also "into construction". Sorisha Naidoo Former actress, DJ and businesswoman, who through her company SSBO imports international beauty products. Sorisha is a mother of two and she's married to businessman Vivian Reddy.
