Season 1
Presenter Search on 3 is a South African reality competition talent search with a televised portion consisting of 13 episodes, in which broadcaster SABC3 auditioned thousands of hopefuls to find three new presenters for three of its flagship shows.
One spot was reserved for the next glamorous Top Billing presenter, another for a candidate to join the Expresso Morning Show and the third winner to co-host the new afternoon show, Afternoon Express.
During February and March, thousands of hopefuls were whittled down to a National Top 30, but only three were destined for greatness as they were put in the spotlight.
Under the discerning eyes of judges Bonang Matheba, Phat Joe and Jeannie D, contestants faced physical challenges, tests of improvisation and intelligence, all whilst holding their cool with the confidence and charisma befitting a savvy presenter.
