Season 2

Angela Lansbury plays the role of super sleuth Jessica Fletcher, an elderly lady who previously substituted as an English teacher but has now settled for a life of writing mystery novels.

Jessica lives in Cabot Cove but she also travels around the country promoting her latest book. It seems that wherever Jessica goes, a dead body seems to turn up, even in her hometown.

Since Jessica loves sniffing around for clues to the murderer, she’s not always the most popular person to be around. She is often assisted by her good friend, Dr Seth Hazelet and also the local sheriff, Amos Tupper.

Be careful when Jessica Fletcher comes to town, before you know it a murder will take place and by the end of the episode Jessica will give us clues as to how she investigated and came up with the name of the “cold-blooded” killer, much to the killer and the viewers’ surprise.
