Season 2

Redneck Island is an American reality competition television series hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin which strands a group of "rednecks" - from Southern, mostly rural communities - on a deserted island where they compete in two teams for food and immunity, voting out one contestant per week until a winner remains.

The series premiered in the USA on CMT on 9 June, 2012.

Redneck Island premiered in South Africa on DStv's Vuzu channel on Tuesday 2 July 2013, at 19h30. It later began airing on M-Net Series Reality, from Season 2. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 2 originally aired on Vuzu from 19 November, 2013 to 21 January, 2014, on Tuesdays at 19h30. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Season 2 premiered on M-Net Series Reality on Thursday 13 March 2014, at 23h30. New episodes broadcast daily, on weekdays. There are 10 episodes in the second season.

Season 2

Returning for his second season as host of Redneck Island, wrestling hall of famer Steve Austin will take 14 new red, white and blue-collared Americans out of their element, and far away from cold beer, for the next round of the ultimate redneck-style competition series.

In the first episode, the competition turns serious quickly as contestants discover their first challenge is a game of human cornhole.

Throughout the 10-episode season, the group must overcome tough mental and physical challenges to prove they are the reddest of them all and win $100,000.
