The Nine Lives of Chloe King is an American fantasy drama television series based on the book series of the same name by Liz Braswell which follows Chloe King, a girl who discovers that she is a descendant of an ancient race of Baset offspring called the Mai, as she attempts to learn more about her cat-like powers with her friends and protectors.

The series aired in the USA on ABC Family from 14 June to 16 August, 2011. There are 10 hour-long episodes in one season.

The Nine Lives of Chloe King has not yet aired in South Africa.

Synopsis

Chloe King is looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her friends and single mother, just like every other year... that is until she starts developing heightened abilities and discovers she's being pursued by a mysterious figure.

Chloe soon learns she's part of an ancient race which has been hunted by human assassins for millennia — and that she may be their only hope for ultimate survival.

The Nine Lives of Chloe King is executive produced by Dan Berendsen and John Ziffren with Alloy Entertainment's Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The drama is based on the book series The Nine Lives of Chloe King by Liz Braswell.

The series stars Skyler Samuels as Chloe King; Amy Pietz as Meredith King; Grey Damon as Brian; newcomer Grace Phipps as Amy; Benjamin Stone as Alek; Alyssa Diaz as Jasmine; and Ki Hong Lee as Paul.
