Season 5
The Comedy Central Roast of Khanyi Mbau is the fifth local iteration of the international format, with previous Roastees being Steve Hofmeyr, Kenny Kunene, Somizi Mhlongo and AKA.
Comedian, presenter, television personality and all-round entertainer Mpho Modikoane, aka Mpho Popps, will be tasked with keeping things explosive as the Roastmaster.

The head writer for the Roast was Loyiso Gola, heading a team consisting of Mojak Lehoko, Sunni Faba, Muzi Dlamini, Lindy Johnson, Gavin Kelly, Thabiso Mhlongo, Thulani Mcking, Dillan Oliphant, Lihle Msimang and Kirsten Mohamed.
