Season 47
Noot vir Noot, South Africa's longest running game show, is back for its 47th season, once again hosted by Emo Adams.
In this fun-filled show, contestants battle it out against one another by putting their music knowledge to the test in trying to be the first to answer the game questions and name the music clues, performed by the funky and sassy DJ Shelly, aka Rochelle de Bruyn.
The new season features fan-favourite classic games such as Noot Assosiasie and Laslappie, as well as brand new games such as Wie se Wysie and The Backtrack Game, each with their own unique, fast-paced play styles.
It's fastest finger first, so contestants have to be quick on the buzzer in order to win the most money and stand a chance to play for R25,000 in the jackpot round.
Emo Adams brings his trademark comedic charm and witty humour to the role of presenter, creating a fresh and modern take on this legendary game show.
DJ Shelly provides the music clues on both her DJ decks as well as her keyboard.
Her love for music and engagement with the contestants creates an exciting dynamic for the show, as she and Emo are constantly interacting with one another and the contestants.
The set features a massive screen on which the games are played.
This large game screen involves the viewers and encourages them to play along, making them feel part of the action.
The games are also depicted through the use of 3D graphics which are overlaid on the viewers' television screens.
Each episode features a guest artist who performs some of their biggest or latest hits with their own live musicians in a new sound recording studio setup.
The artists will be performing song requests provided by the contestants and their family members, who are watching the show from their own living rooms.
