Season 2
Presenter Search on 3 is a South African reality competition talent search with a televised portion in which SABC3 auditions thousands of hopefuls to find three new presenters for three of its flagship shows.
One spot is reserved for the next glamorous Top Billing presenter, another for a candidate to join the Expresso Morning Show and the third winner to co-host the afternoon show, Afternoon Express.
In addition to becoming the new presenters on the channel's TV shows, this year's winners will also become the new faces of SABC3.
Presenter Search on 3 spring-boarded the careers of the previous winners in 2015: Simba Mhere (Top Billing), Jonathan Boynton-Lee (Top Billing), Zoë Brown (Expresso), Danilo Acquisto (Afternoon Express and Win a Home) and Jade Hübner (Top Billing).
Auditions this year took place at the following venues:
Port Elizabeth on Sunday 25 March at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Cape Town on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 April at Newlands Rugby Stadium
Durban on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April at the Durban Exhibition Centre
Johannesburg on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April at Wanderers Cricket Stadium
This season is hosted by Pabi Moloi, with judges Jeannie D, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Patience Stevens.
Season 2 is executive produced by Patience Stevens and Bradley van den Berg for Cardova Productions, with producers Rousseau du Plessis, Michal Malek and Lars Schwinges. Directors include Michal Malek and Lars Schwinges.
