Difficult People is an American online comedy series created by Julie Klausner, who stars alongside Billy Eichner as two struggling and jaded New York comedians whose typically irreverent behaviour lands them in some very awkward situations. TV blogger Julie (Klausner) and her best friend Billy (Eichner), who works as a waiter, try out stand-up routines at night in New York City. The series is from executive producers Amy Poehler (Parks & Recreation) and Dave Becky (Louie) and marks the first collaboration between Hulu and Universal Cable Productions.
