Description

Betty White's Off Their Rockers is an American reality comedy hidden camera television series based on the Belgian television format Benidorm Bastards in which White and her team of elderly actors play pranks on members of the younger generation, in the manner of Candid Camera, Trigger Happy TV and Punk'd.

Ahhh senior citizens: blue-haired, discount card-holding pensioners slowly winding down through their golden years. So sweet, so kind, so... out of control and outrageous?!

In the vein of Jackass and Punk'd, comedic sensation Betty White orchestrates a band of fearless senior citizens as they roam the streets pulling shockingly hilarious pranks on the naive younger generation.

Delivering comedy in carefully crafted stunts, the results are jaw-droppingly funny candid moments and priceless reactions captured by cameras hidden in strategic locations. And with a fresh and edgy look, there's nothing old-fashioned about this series.

The original Belgium version is the winner of the International Rose d'Or Best Program Award. Taking the world by storm, this ratings sensation finally arrived in America and proves that no matter how old you are, you should never act your age.

As star of the series, the inimitable and charming White is featured in brazenly funny sketches, providing saucy commentary between the pranks and sharing her engaging, comical pearls of wisdom.

White stars in every "Rockers" episode in unpredictable comedy moments - reflecting her own unique comedic style - and she is also the on-camera host. White, a seven-time Emmy Award winner, executive-produces the series, adapted from the hit Belgium series Benidorm Bastards.

Chris Coelen, Matilda Zoltowski, Betty White, Scott Hallock, Kevin Healey, Tim Van Aelst and Tim Gibbons are the executive producers of the series, produced by Kinetic Content in association with Hallock Healey Entertainment.

Broadcast Notes

The series premiered in the USA on NBC on 16 January, 2012. It was cancelled after two seasons on NBC and picked up for a third and final season by Lifetime.
