Description

RaakPraat Met Sandra is an Afrikaans language talk show hosted by South African actress Sandra Prinsloo.

The show features Sandra interviewing celebrity guests with a focus on the stars and personalities that make up South Africa, from young to old.

Through the interviews Sandra aims to go beyond what meets the eye and take a peak into the lives of her guests by chatting to them in an informal style.

Sandra has this to say about her guests: "I have seen people, actors and stars come and go through the years, but there are two types, or categories which still fascinate me,"

"Firstly there are the energetic young folk who do not allow themselves to be enslaved by the past and its restriction. Naturally they make mistakes, sometimes they try to reinvent the wheel, but they are fresh, gutsy and uncompromising.

"The whole world with all its possibilities is still lying at their feet. As director and producer, these are the people I work with and with whom I would like to chat in my new talk show.

"And then, naturally, there are older ones. Those who have made their mark years ago, who still posses their creative energy and refuse to stagnate; people who recreate themselves time and time again.

"People who are not satisfied with merely keeping up, but choose to spend their time on the frontlines – still there to set standards and aims.

"For them I have even more respect because I know how hard it can be to stay on top in an ever changing world."

Sandra's guest in the premiere episode of the show was Noot Vir Noot's Johan Stemmet.
