The series premiered in South Africa on DStv's Disney Channel on Saturday 16 January 2009, at 18h35. It later aired on SABC3. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

The Suite Life on Deck premiered on SABC3 on Monday 24 May 2010, at 19h30. New episodes air weekly. There are 21 episodes in the first season.

Synopsis

Dylan and Cole Sprouse reprise their roles as Zack and Cody and the series introduces 15-year-old actress Debby Ryan as Baily - a companion in their new adventures.

Brenda Song returns as London Tipton, as does Phill Lewis as Mr. Moseby.

The series finds the brothers aboard the SS Tipton, a luxury passenger cruise liner owned by London's father. The ship cruises the world with tourists and students who attend classes at Seven Seas High, the one high school that London's dad thinks will make his daughter a better student.

While out at sea, Zack and Cody still have their compass pointed towards mischief, and London learns to live a "fabu-less" lifestyle, including sharing a small room with Bailey, a country girl from Kansas.

Baily is less worldly than London, but incredibly book smart, and thrilled to have shaken the dust of Kettlecorn, Kansas off her feet. Both Zack and Cody are smitten with her, and she faces a struggle to remain faithful to her Kettlecorn cutie, Moose.

Meanwhile, Mr. Moseby has been reassigned to be the “hotel manager” of the SS Tipton.
