About the Show

aYeYe is a South African anthology drama series which tells a new story each season.

The first season is a coming-of-age story set in the heart of Johannesburg's hottest urban neighbourhood which follows the lives, loves, heartache, fears and dreams of three friends.

JK (Thapelo Mokoena), Neo (Sthembiso "SK" Khoza) and Lebo (Mpho "Popps" Modikoane) share a loft apartment in Maboneng and all three work as rockstar creatives at a hotshot Sandton advertising agency.

Over the course of 13 episodes, the trio navigate the intricate and riveting world of advertising.

The second season tells the story of a rich stay-at-home mom who becomes an adult content creator in order to maintain her lifestyle after her baby daddy dies and his family takes everything.

Rosemary Zimu stars as Zoleka, a 30-year-old left on the verge of destitution.

This forces her to find other ways to keep her lavish life and to keep her son off the street.

Forced to take ownership of her life and to adapt or die, will Zoleka make it?

Season 1 is produced by Bomb. Season 2 is produced by Seriti Films.
