State of Georgia is an American television sitcom created by Jeff Greenstein and Jennifer Weiner and starring Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life personality, and her science geek best friend, Jo, who are trying to make professional and personal headway in New York City.
The series aired in the USa on ABC Family from 29 June to 17 August, 2011. There are 12 half-hour episodes in one season.
State of Georgia premiered in South Africa on DStv's Vuzu channel on Tuesday 15 November 2011, at 19h00. New episodes broadcast on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same time.
