About the Show

Headline is a South African entertainment magazine show hosted by Kuli Roberts and Trevor Gumbi and produced by Bitch Films which offers an intimate and close-up look at the lives of celebrities as Kuli and Trevor "walk the fine line between humorous gossip and tactless trash".

The series aired on DStv's Mzansi Magic channel from 15 July, 2010 to 4 April, 2013. There are 143 half-hour episodes in five seasons. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Synopsis

Hosted by Kuli Roberts and Trevor Gumbi the show has only one subject: the celebrities and wannabe schlebs who take up vast amounts of space in the country's media.

Headline offers "an intimate and close-up look at the lives of celebrities" and viewers can carry on the discussion after the show through Kuli's Facebook and Twitter pages.

Episode 1 of Headline saw her heading to a private, but high-profile birthday bash, starring in her own photo shoot and getting up-close-and-personal with Sal Masekela.

The channel itself says Kuli is "walking the fine line between humorous gossip and tactless trash, the way only Kuli can do".
