Peyton List is an American actress best known for her television roles as Lucinda Marie "Lucy" Montgomery in As the World Turns (2001-2005), as Tally Reida in Windfall (2006) and as Cameron Collinsworth in Big Shots, from 2007-2008.

She also starred as Nicole Kirby in the science fiction television series FlashForward (2009-2010) and has a starring role as Cara Coburn in the science fiction television series The Tomorrow People.

Peyton has had guest-starring roles on One Tree Hill, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, Without a Trace, Smallville, Law & Order: SVU, Sex and the City, Day Break and Mad Men, among others.

For the big screen, her credits include the lead in the Disney feature The Greatest Game Ever Played, Shuttle and Deep Winter.

List was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She grew up with her older sister Brittany, who works as a model in Germany, and her parents Sherri Anderson and Douglas "Doug" List. Peyton studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City and also played there on stage.

She began her career as a model and actress at the age of eight. Since then she had various modeling jobs for Dooney & Bourke as well as Clean & Clear. Peyton also belongs to the Eileen Ford modeling agency in New York.

She has been on the cover of Girl's Life magazine more times than anyone else and was also a cover model for magazines like Your PROM (2002) and Bridal Guide (2004).
