Bio

Nicholas Lyndhurst is an English actor best known for his television roles as Rodney Trotter in Only Fools and Horses (1981-2003) and as Gary Sparrow in Goodnight Sweetheart, from 1993-1999.

He starred as Rodney in six seasons and eight Christmas specials of the hugely popular Only Fools And Horses. He also starred in six seasons of Goodnight Sweetheart, three seasons of The Two Of Us, three seasons of The Piglet Files and the mini-series Gulliver's Travels.

He's also earned acclaim for his roles in The Prince And The Pauper, Peter Pan, Going Straight, and the BBC adaptation of David Copperfield.

In his early career, Nicholas also famously played the role of Adam in Butterflies and his film credits include Endless Nights, Bequest To The Nation, Bullshot, Gunbus and Lassie.

He has played the role of Jimmy Venables in the sitcom After You've Gone since January 2007.
