Hazel Warren (25) is a Malawian PA from Lilongwe best known as one of the 12 housemates on the third season of the reality television competition Big Brother Africa, in 2008.
Hazel holds an advanced Diploma in Travel Tourism and Hospitality and has worked at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics since 2004.
Enterprising by nature, Hazel also runs a bridal business and entered Big Brother Africa to experience something different and for the possibility of winning the big prize.
She lists her special talent as cooking and says that if there was one thing she could teach the world, it would be patience.
A fan of the television crime series CSI and the suburban drama Desperate Housewives as well as the Oprah Winfrey Show, Hazel enjoys the music of Christina Aguilera, Blue, Westlife, Mariah Carey and Lionel Ritchie.
Her favourite actress is Julia Roberts and her favourite movie is Erin Brokovich.
Personally Hazel lives by the motto ‘believe in yourself’. If she won $100,000 Hazel says she’ll probably spend it on property.
