Sophia Myles is an English actress best known for her role as Beth Turner in the television fantasy horror series Moonlight, from 2007-2008.

Myles' television credits include The Hades Factor, the British series Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickelby, as well as the television movie Colditz. She also starred in the award-winning film Hallam Foe.

Her additional film credits include From Hell, Mansfield Park, Underworld, Tristan + Isolde, Thunderbirds and Art School Confidential.

Born in London, England, Myles is the daughter of a vicar in the Anglican Church. Though she was accepted to Cambridge University, Myles put her education on hold to act.

She is fluent in three languages (English, German and French) and enjoys horseback riding, skiing and swimming.
