Bio

Jonathan Pienaar is a South African actor who has appeared in numerous television shows and feature films. He is perhaps best known to television audiences for his lead role as Johnny in the Heartlines film The Miners (2006).

He also had a recurring role on the SABC3 drama series The Lab, from 2006-2008.

He played the role of the psychiatrist, Dr. JT, on the SABC3 comedy series On the Couch; and the role of Fred Palmer, an ex-hippie bar owner, in the SABC2 mini-series Hopeville.

In 2014 he had a starring role in the SABC1 police drama series Task Force.
