Kamogelo Mampe is a South African dancer and actress best known for her role as receptionist Palesa in the SABC2 soapie Muvhango, from 2004-2008.
Mampe was born and bred in the Free State. Her career started in primary school, first with ballet and then with traditional dancing. She then found her passion: Latin American and Ballroom Dancing.
Kamogelo then went on and trained as an actor at the Performing Arts of the Free State (PACOFS). She also has a degree in Psychology.
Aside from her long-running role on Muvhango, she also played the minor role of Jacqui in the fifth short film of the 2006 Heartlines series, entitled "The Bet".
It was announced early in October 2007 that she would be leaving Muvhango "to pursue other interests". Her character appeared on the show until 2008.
