Amanda Hoosen is a contestant on the second season of the reality TV show Survivor South Africa: Malaysia, in 2007.
A Head of Internal Audit from Weltevreden Park, Johannesburg, Amanda is a graduate in Accounting and International Business from Drexel University in the United States, and a certified public accountant.
Currently working for mining firm DRDGold (since October 2004), she was previously employed in the United States by Cox Enterprises Incorporated and by Ernst and Young, LLP.
She has travelled the world, but these days she manages the internal audit team at DRDGold.
In her spare time, she enjoys Bikram Yoga (yoga in a heated room).
She has had dance training since the age of five and does ballet, tap, modern and jazz.
