Thabo Mnguni is a South African actor best known for his role as Mr Mbatha in the SABC1 soapie Uzalo, joining the show during Season 2, in September 2016.
He was previously known for his starring role as Bra Steve in the SABC1 sitcom Family Bonds, from 2007-2009.
He was nominated for a South African Film and Television Award (SAFTA) in the category Best Supporting Actor in a TV Comedy, for his role in the first season of Family Bonds.
In 2006 he had a guest role on the SABC2 police procedural drama series Zero Tolerance and in 2011 he played the role of a prisoner on the SABC1 soapie Generations.
Thabo played the recurring role of Sipho in the first season of the e.tv soapie Imbewu: The Seed, making his first appearance in Season 1, Episode 183, which aired on 26 December, 2018.
In 2022, he was promoted to starring cast on Uzalo for the start of the show's eighth season.
