Paula Trickey is an American actress best known for her role as Off./Sgt. Cory McNamara in five seasons of the television series Pacific Blue, from 1996-2000.

Born in Amarillo Texas, raised in Tulsa Oklahoma, and the youngest of three girls, Trickey attended East Central High School in Tulsa.

She found her love for acting at the age of eight. At a time of grief in her family home, Paula performed and wrote plays in the hopes of entertaining and cheering up her family.

Her love for acting led to many plays and theatrical productions from elementary school and throughout high school.

While in high school Trickey started doing local commercials and pageants, and in 1985 was crowned Miss Oklahoma in the All-American Teen Pageant (a Miss USA production) only to lose in the finals to an unknown Halle Berry.

Following high school Paula moved to Dallas where she studied acting and enjoyed much success with commercials and local film productions such as Dallas, and "Dallas the Early Years".

She moved to Los Angeles in 1986.

After arriving in LA, Trickey landed a five-season run on Pacific Blue, portraying a by-the book sergeant, Cory McNamara.

She had also been a series regular on NBC's Tradewinds, and has recurred on such shows as The OC, Beverly Hills 90210, and Walker Texas Ranger.

She has done several movies of the week with the Hallmark network such as Gone But Not Forgotten, McBride, and A Carol Christmas, and feature films such as The Base, A Kiss Goodnight, Mr. Saturday Night and Black Scorpion.

In addition, Trickey enjoys golf and attends several charitable tournaments. Some of her loves are the Athletes and Entertainers for Kids, LAPD memorial fund, The Fireman's Memorial Fund, Dennis Quaid tournament for Doctors Without Borders and the Children's Hospital of Austin, Pat Boone's Head Trauma awareness, Pediatric Aids, Animal Rescue, as well as a host of other organisations.

She is married to television producer for Howie Mandel, Rich Thurber, since 1996, and has one daughter, McKenna.
