Richard Masur is an American actor who served two terms as the president of the Screen Actors Guild, from 1995-1999.

He has had recurring roles on numerous television shows, including Matlock; L.A. Law; Picket Fences; Significant Others; Family Law; Felicity; The Practice and All My Children.

He has had guest starring roles in shows such as All In The Family; M*A*S*H; Hawaii Five-O; Happy Days; Cagney & Lacey; thirtysomething; Murphy Brown; and Law & Order.

Films he has appeared in include Hanover Street (1979); Risky Business (1983); Flashback (1990); My Girl (1991); The Man Without a Face (1993); Six Degrees of Separation (1993); Fire Down Below (1997); and Palindromes (2004).
