Timmy Kwebulana was a South African actor known for his starring and supporting roles in television shows such as Velaphi, Fishy Feshuns and Mazinyo Dot Q.
He was also known for his starring role on the Mzansi Magic drama series Isikizi and the role of Bra Vic Tau, the founder of Shooting Stars F.C., in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars, from 2007-2010.
Timmy guest starred in an episode of the Mzansi Magic sitcom Chandies, in April 2012, and went on to star as Mbulelo in the SABC1 romantic comedy Forced Love.
In 2015 he starred as Captain Dabula in the second season of the e.tv detective drama series Traffic!.
In 2016 he starred as Zanomthetho on Mzansi Magic's Isikizi, set in the rural Eastern Cape and inspired by the Greek tragedy Oedipus.
His other TV credits include roles on the SABC period drama Torings and the SABC2 comedy series Stokvel, where he played Pastor Cecil.
Timmy died on Thursday 19 September 2024. The cause of his death was not disclosed. He was 83.
