Amanda Righetti is an American actress best known for her starring role as Grace van Pelt in the crime procedural television series The Mentalist.
Born and raised just outside of Las Vegas, Amanda Righetti moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Immediately after her move, Righetti secured the lead in the pilot No Place Like Home.
Although the pilot was not picked up, Righetti caught the eye of FOX executives, who cast her as Hailey Nichol in the series The O.C., on which she continues to have a recurring role. She recently played fame obsessed actress Jenna Moretti in the series Reunion and played Tessa Lewison in North Shore.
Righetti's additional television credits include a guest-starring role on the drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and a supporting role in the television movie Romy and Michelle: In the Beginning.
Righetti divides her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
