Paula Malcomson (born 1970, sometimes credited as Paula Williams) is an Irish actress best known for her role as Trixie in the western television series Deadwood, from 2004-2006.
She starred as Amanda Graystone in the science fiction television series Caprica (2009-2010) and also has a starring role as Ray's wife Abby, who enjoys the spoils of Ray's success in LA and strives to climb even higher, desperately wanting to get out of the Valley and into the neighbourhoods, parties and schools of the true Hollywood elite, in the television drama series Ray Donovan.
Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Malcomson moved to New York City's East Village at 19 and started acting shortly thereafter.
Her most notable performance is that of Trixie in HBO's highly acclaimed Deadwood, for which she and her castmates received a SAG Award nomination. She's also had recurring stints on ER., Lost, and John from Cincinnati as well as other TV series.
She has appeared in studio films like The Green Mile, Artificial Intelligence: AI, and Tombstone, as well as a slew of independents.
Paula lives in Los Angeles with her pack of animals that she loves with all her heart and travels to Ireland each summer to work on her Irish accent.
