Bio

Thembsie Matu is a South African actress best known for her recurring role as Zinhle in the SABC3 drama television series The Lab (2006-2008), and for appearing in a popular television commercial for the insecticide Doom.

She also played the role of Nomathamsanqa on the SABC1 drama series Tshisa, from 2006-2012.

She made a guest appearance in the role of Teacher in the first episode of the SABC1 mini-series uGugu no Andile (Gugu and Andile), based on the play Romeo and Juliet, on 3 June 2008.

On 4 August 2008 she made her first appearance on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City in the guest role of Sis Bee, a battleaxe matron who fights the odds trying to care for patients under crazy circumsumstances.

She has two children - a daughter, Namosa and a son, Neo.
